Honda has just launched the BF350, a new 5.0-liter V8 engine with VTEC, but it is not aimed at vehicles. The new engine is intended exclusively for marine use. With an impressive power of 350 hp, this engine promises to make experiences on the water even more exciting.

It is worth mentioning that, despite being innovative, Honda is not the only manufacturer to offer a V8 engine for marine use. Yamaha, for example, has the XTO Offshore, which features a 5.6-liter V8 with 425 and 450 horsepower options.

Mercury Marine offers a variety of V8 engines, with powers ranging from 225 to 300 hp. The company also has V10 and V12 engines, with impressive outputs of 350 to 600 hp.
