The Crosstar e:HEV incorporates several exterior updates that enhance its rugged and adventurous look and its crossover style. The more defined grille opts for a marked honeycomb design and is combined with renewed bumpers that now have silver trims, with matching side skirts.

The changes are completed with a new finish for the alloy wheels in the same black color as the door handles and exterior mirrors, and with darkened optics that give it a more sporty and modern character. A new color has also been introduced for the bodywork, Pearl ‘Mist Blue’, exclusive to this version, which adds to the already existing Premium Solar White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl and Crystal Red Premium Metallic.

The interior has also been updated, and the Crosstar incorporates design enhancements throughout the cabin, including new surface materials and new, darker-coloured water-repellent upholstery, maintaining its modern, minimalist aesthetic. The Crosstar e:HEV retains Honda’s advanced, highly responsive and efficient hybrid technology. The latest generation e:HEV powertrain consists of two electric motors (generator and drive), a gasoline engine that provides great fuel economy, a fixed transmission and three intelligent driving modes that offer high levels of efficiency in all driving conditions.

Thanks to the improvements applied to the e:HEV system in general, there have been gains in efficiency, maneuverability and power. The Crosstar e:HEV now increases its total power from 109 to 122 hp, with a torque of 253 Nm. The additional power, however, has not meant an increase in consumption and CO2 emissions, which remain at 4.8 l/100 km and 108 g/km, respectively. Honda’s fixed transmission featured in the Crosstar e:HEV has also been refined to achieve higher levels of smoothness and handling, and offer a more dynamic driving experience.

In addition, the new Crosstar maintains the class-leading levels of interior space that have been a hallmark of previous generations. When it comes to maximizing the spaciousness of the cabin, the placement of the fuel tank in the central part of the chassis, under the seats, has been key, a unique feature in its class.

This allows the Crosstar to retain the excellent versatility of the multi-configurable Honda Magic Seats in the rear, which fold flat flat if more cargo space is needed.
