All car companies in India have SUVs in their lineup. Honda is planning to launch a new SUV in this segment very soon.
The new car will be a compact SUV and will directly compete with the best SUVs in India like Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Toyota HyRyder, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Kia Seltos.
The car will be launched in India in a few months. Honda company has now introduced the teaser of this car. Here we see its prototype form. The car features LED headlamps, sharp LED DRLS, large radiator grille, skid plate, plastic cladding, rub rail etc.
At the rear, we have LED tail lights, a new spoiler design, etc. as key design features. Its side lines are clearly seen in this teaser. The production model of this car is expected to be even better.
Being a mid-compact sedan, it gets a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine. It has 121PS of power, 145 NM of torque, 6 speed MT and optional CVT gearbox.
The car is also expected to feature a Honda hybrid engine. The car will feature the 1.5-litre petrol engine of the Honda City e:HEV (Hybrid). It will feature 126PS of power and 253NM of torque. Its mileage is 27.13KMPL.
Some of the important features include touchscreen infotainment screen, semi-digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, electric sunroof, ventilated seat facility, wireless charging facility, 6 air bags, ESC, TPMS, Advanced Driver Assist (ADAS) safety features. It is expected to be priced at Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
