Honor has taken advantage of the eve of the Mobile World Congress 2024 to present, in addition to the Magic 6 Pro, its new tablet, the Honor Pad 9, which stands out for its impressive 12.1″ inch 2.5K screen and 120Hz refresh rate. The company continues to bet on this market, that of Android tablets, and it also does so with a very interesting specifications sheet at a fairly moderate price.
With a very balanced specification sheet in relation to its price, the Honor Pad 9 is also a quite elegant design device, with a main screen that occupies 88% of the body of the device and equipped with all the software functionalities available. the ones that Honor has accustomed us to, since the Pad 9 runs MagicOS 7.2a customized version of Android.
Honor has provided its screen with some very interesting extra technologies, such as Circadian Night Displaywhich automatically adjusts the screen to warmer colors (a feature very similar to Apple’s TrueTone) and also has the TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification and the TÜV Rheinland certification Flicker Free, both focused on improving visual health. Honor bets everything on the screen, but does not forget the rest
The company has not neglected the sound section of Honor Pad 9 either, and has provided its tablet with a set of eight speakers, two of them located at the bottom, all with amplified volume levels and deep, rich bass with the intended to deliver surround sound from multiple directions.
The Honor Pad 9 is also compatible with Bidirectional Vocal Enhancement technologywhich improves the clarity of the human voice and reduces background noise, although its use will depend on whether the applications we use are compatible with this technology and are adapted.
Regarding its battery, the company assures that the Honor Pad 9 offers up to 11 hours of video streaming, 11 hours of navigation or 15 hours of music streaming. A battery, which, by the way, supports charging up to 35W via cable.
The Honor Pad 9 is made in a light aluminum alloy and available in space gray, the only launch color in Spain. It can be purchased starting today for €399 on the Honor website. However, as is usual in the launches of new Honor products, it comes with an offer that will last until March 10 with a €100 discount coupon, remaining at €299.

In addition to the Honor Pad 9, the company has also presented a new portable PC, the Honor MagicBook Pro 16, very focused on its use with Artificial Intelligence at the platform level, with the latest generation CPU and GPU, as announced by its manufacturer. The MagicBook Pro 16 also arrives with a 3K display and is the first Windows laptop to include spatial audio.
Unfortunately, this device will not arrive in Spain at the moment, despite the fact that many of its advanced software functionalities are designed to work closely with your tablet (including the recently introduced Pad 9) thanks to the incorporation of Honor’s MagicRing technology .
