Saint Triandafyllos is a new martyr‌ of the Orthodox ​Christian Church, whose memory is celebrated on August 8th. On this day, those named Triandafyllos and Triandafyllia celebrate.

Triandafyllos was ​from Zagora in Pelion and worked as a sailor. On August 8, ​1680, while in⁣ Constantinople, he was​ beheaded in the Hippodrome for refusing to ⁢convert and‍ become a Muslim.

A part of his relics is ‌located in the ‌Monastery of Saint Nicholas on the island of Andros.
