CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Miles Bridges hit a 3-pointer with 6.6 seconds left in overtime and the Charlotte Hornets ended a six-game losing streak with a 121-118 victory Monday to the Boston Celtics.

LaMelo Ball finished with 36 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, while Gordon Hayward had 20 points for the Hornets, who came back from being down by 18 points.

Jayson Tatum scored 45 points, but missed a free throw with 5.2 seconds left and which would have tied the game after a foul on a three-point attempt. Tatum scored the first two, but missed the last one.

Gordon Hayward made both of his free throws as Charlotte went up by three with 0.8 seconds left and Bridges stole the break to seal the victory.

Mark Williams had 18 points and 16 rebounds for Charlotte.

Peyton Pritchard scored 21 points, with five triples for Boston, which saw its six-win streak end.
