Leslie said that “after about 10 minutes of flying we heard two huge knocks and when I looked out the window I saw something orange flying across my face. My wife thought it was a bird.” He continued: “Kids screamed and people panicked, it was really scary. When I saw two flight attendants looking at each other, I knew something was wrong.” Another passenger, Lee Marsh, said the plane “hovered for a long time in the air after the explosion, people were still screaming non-stop”.
