Soldiers and school students attended a horse adventure event held at the Army Training College in Wellington.

Military Training College and M.R.C. in Wellington, near Coonoor, Nilgiris District. There is also an army camp. The officers and soldiers here are given not only military training but also various trainings including horse mount training. The exercise is being held at the Gymkhana Grounds. The school also provides training to students.
Accordingly a horse adventure show called the Mountain Gymkhana was held at the Gymkhana Grounds. It was attended by 50 army officers, soldiers and athletes, school student-athletes. Various competitions were held including horse racing, azure lay, jumping, ball and bucket race.
The spectators were captivated by the horses that ran wildly and competitively. Then there were events like horses galloping into the ring of fire and javelin throwing while sitting. Military Training College Commandant Lieutenant General Mohan presented prizes to all the contestants who participated in the competition.
