Hospitalized after a party: a young person intimidated and tortured by “his only friends”

by time news

A very intoxicated 19-year-old ended up in hospital following a party. The Glynn County Police Department in Georgia has opened an investigation.

On March 21, 19-year-old Trent Lehrkamp was taken to the emergency room at a hospital in Brunswick by three “friends”. The latter gave their names to the staff and left before the police arrived.

Covered in urine and paint, the young man was so intoxicated that he only breathed six times a minute.

In a photo from March 21, Trent appears to be unconscious and covered in substances as four youngsters pose next to him.

The next day, the police conducted a search of a house on St-Simons Island. Evidence related to the investigation was found. About 20 youths have been identified in connection with the incident.

Trent’s father told police that his son had already returned injured after spending time with this group of friends.

A few weeks earlier, Trent’s father says he had to take him to the emergency room because he had a “severe laceration” above his left eye, an injury that required stitches.

On March 17, the youngster returned home covered in vomit, paint, glue and egg yolk.

According to the father, Trent “never comes back normal” when he goes out with these friends, who would be his “only friends”.

A photo posted to social media shows Lehrkamp tied to a black chair with what looks like feces in his lap. The photo was reportedly taken at the same home on St-Simons Island where the March 21 incident took place.

A GoFundMe account was set up to help pay Trent’s medical bills. Over $100,000 was raised.

The FBI and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are currently helping to analyze evidence gathered from the March 21 incident.
