Its modern facilities are designed to guarantee the comfort and safety of its patients in the most important stages of motherhood.

On the other hand, health professionals are trained to implement 4 main axes of well-being, covering the first minute of pregnancy with empathy and humanity:

  • Immediate attachment: providing skin-to-skin contact between mother and baby, and strengthening the connection from the first minute of life. This aspect also provides psychological stability and stimulates breastfeeding.
  • Joint accommodation: the baby remains with its mother in the same room from the first hours of life, an element that also stimulates breastfeeding, ensures the emotional well-being of the mother and strengthens the bond with the newborn. All rooms are totally private.
  • Breastfeeding: Nursing staff, with the support of UNICEF, provide an educational plan to the patient to begin the breastfeeding process during their stay. This helps the mother to successfully continue with natural and healthy eating at home. Recently, Hospitales La Paz received recognition as a Breastfeeding Friendly Entity, celebrating a decade of being friends of breastfeeding. During the month to raise awareness about the fight against breast cancer, it seeks to promote the benefits of this practice to contribute to the baby’s health and reduce risks for the mother.
  • Personalized attention: Hospitales La Paz has trained its advisors to become experts in maternity and encourage personalized attention to each family. These advisors conduct tours of the facilities to be a direct link between the mother and specialist doctors, guaranteeing that the mother and her baby have a satisfactory comprehensive well-being experience.
