Bengaluru: The Hosur Yashwantpur passenger train, which was stopped during the Corona period, is running again from today after about two and a half years. It has been well received by the public.

Due to the corona virus, as a general shutdown was announced last year 2020, all types of transport such as bus, train and air transport were paralyzed across the country. Vehicles and goods transport were operated only for essential needs. Later, as the contagion subsided, the halted trains were gradually resumed. Currently, Southern Railway operates all mail, express and passenger trains. However, some routes are yet to fully resume train services. In this regard, the people of that area are being re-routed after making demands to the railway department.

In this situation, the special train which was stopped between Bangalore – Hosur has started running again from today after about 2 years. Departed Yashwanpur this morning and reached Hosur at 7.50 am. It left again at 8.15 and reached Bangalore.
