Hot company presents good reports for the second quarter of the year. The group records a 9.5% increase in revenues to NIS 1.037 billion compared to the corresponding quarter last year, which represents an increase of NIS 90 million, and this is mainly thanks to an improvement in the cellular sector that has grown and thanks to the increase in revenues of the business sector, and this in contrast to the revenues of the landline sector which decreased by approximately NIS 12 million to against the previous quarter.

The significant improvement in the reports is reflected in the EBITDA section (operating profit before taxes, interest and depreciation) which amounted to NIS 353 million, an increase of 18.2% compared to the corresponding quarter last year. Hot’s reports are also affected by reports of other activities of the Altice group, which has control over the company. It is important to emphasize that Hot’s reports are not complete and are only partially published as part of the reports of the parent company in France.

The analysis of the revenues shows that the company records a decrease in the revenues of the stationary sector, which amounted to NIS 513 million, a decrease of NIS 20 million compared to the corresponding quarter last year. On the other hand, the company records an increase in the business sector activity which grew to NIS 221 million compared to the previous quarter by NIS 13 million.

Hot Mobile added 23,000 customers (of which 11,000 were postpaid customers) who contributed to an increase of NIS 9 million in revenues, which amounted to NIS 225 million. The company lost 2,000 subscribers in the landline sector in the quarter, and reported investments of NIS 274 million in the quarter, compared to NIS 231 million at the same time last year.

The reports also show that the deployment of IBC’s fiber network (in which the company is a partner) by it began at the end of the second quarter of 2021. By the end of the second quarter of 2022, IBC deployed approximately 900 thousand households (approximately 89 thousand households were deployed in the second quarter of 2022 ), where Hot performs the main deployment services for IBC.
