An unprecedented heat wave in the northern hemisphere

Tens of millions of people are facing a heat wave set in on Sunday, July 16, in the northern hemisphere, with violent fires in California but also exceptional bad weather in Asia, a new illustration of global warming. From Europe to China via the United States, temperatures continue to soar.

The “icon” Jane Birkin is dead

Jane Birkin died at the age of 76 on Sunday in Paris. She left her mark on song and cinema. The Niel-Zouari-Pigasse trio gives up submitting a takeover offer from the Casino group

The trio lamented that one of Casino’s creditors participated, according to them, “to a competing offer before the submission of offers”, a corrected version of which was to be finalized by July 13, 9 p.m., for a review on July 17 by the group’s management and creditors.
