Seven people in hospital after consuming floor cleaner thinking it was orange juice. The incident took place on the 16th of this month at a hotel in East China’s Zhejiang Province. Later it was realized that the bottle brought to the table was of liquid detergent. After realizing that the restaurant had made a mistake, everyone was admitted to the hospital. Their bellies were washed. It was later learned that the waitress who served the food at the hotel made a mistake and gave the floor cleaner instead of the juice. The newly joined hotel also had vision problems.

Officials informed that the condition of those admitted to the hospital is satisfactory and they will seek compensation from the hotel. The floor cleaner also had packaging similar to orange juice. Hotel staff say this is the reason for the mistake.
