Content creator Roberto González, better known as HotSpanish -29 years old- lost and recovered his YouTube channelas well as that of his wife.
According to HotSpanish, the problem started because They stole the content on his channel and sent him fake strikes.
However, YouTube did not respond to their appeals, so HotSpanish had to ask for support from its millions of followers on social media.

This is how HotSpanish lost its YouTube account
On August 14, 2024, HotSpanish posted a video reported what had lost his YouTube account with more than 10 million followers.
According to HotSpanish, this problem with his channel began after he accused the theft of its content by @Brócoli Millonario Blog’s account.
However, instead of getting his video back, the content creator was threatened and given 3 false strikes, which resulted in his channel being lost, and therefore, his wife’s.
According to HotSpanish, he tried to appeal this decision, but YouTube did not allow it.
So he finally asked his followers to help him make his complaint go viral on X, formerly Twitter, where he asked YouTube for help in recovering his account.
“I need YouTube to help me recover my account. Because someone is stealing my content,” HotSpanish shared.

Just one day after asking for the support of his followers for recover your youtube accountHotSpanish announced and expressed gratitude that it had been achieved.
According to HotSpanish, if he had resorted to legal means, the matter would have taken months; however, YouTube listened to him and returned his and his wife’s accounts.
In gratitude, HotSpanish said it would choose one of its followers and would give him a prize because he didn’t believe “how much support he was receiving.”
HotSpanish did not provide further details about the account that stole its content, but stressed that it was unfair.
