Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu arrived at the home of the late Avishai David Yehezkel, who was killed last night in a terrorist attack in Bnei Brak to comfort mourners.

“I salute the security forces, the police and the civilians who prevented major disasters,” Netanyahu said after the visit. “They are real heroes. We are under a murderous terrorist attack. They must restore peace and security to the citizens of Israel and the streets of our cities. It can be done, it must be done – determined action and a very difficult hand is needed. Unfortunately we all see that a government dependent on the Islamic movement does not “They may or may not be able to do that, but they must put aside any political considerations and fight terrorism.”

Earlier today, Knesset Speaker Miki Levy decided to accede to the opposition’s request and convene the plenum on Wednesday for a recess discussion that will deal with the wave of terrorism, despite the recess.

In a letter sent by the chairman of the Likud faction and the opposition center, MK Yariv Levin, to the Speaker of the Knesset, MK Miki Levy, he demanded that the Knesset plenum convene for a special recess discussion on the issue of the murderous wave of terrorism.

In the letter, Levin stressed the demand for a discussion: “In the face of the raging wave of terrorism, there is a weak government, which depends on non-Zionist and extreme left-wing elements, and lacks the clear and powerful policy required in such situations.”

In favor of the request, the opposition signed 25 Knesset members as required by the Knesset rules and requires the convening of the plenum.
