Within the framework of government efforts to develop and improve housing units in the affected areas of the capital, Tripoli, in a way that contributes to strengthening the infrastructure and achieving housing stability for citizens, the committee formed by Resolution No. (304) of 2024 of the Ministry of Housing and Construction, in the Government of National Unity, held a meeting with the Directorate of Enforcement Management. the law.

The meeting was chaired by the Undersecretary for Affected Areas Affairs, Engineer Abdul Mawla Athuma, in his capacity as Chairman of the committee formed with the Director of the Law Enforcement Department, Major General Abdul Hakim Al Khaitouni, and in the presence of the Mayor of Abu Salim Municipality, Abdul Rahman Al Hamdi, and the Director of the Ministry’s Planning Department, Abdullah Ghani, at the headquarters of the Law Enforcement Department.

The meeting discussed the status of residential units located on Airport Road in the capital, Tripoli, as part of the first phase of the inventory and census work that was implemented during the last period.

The discussions also focused on preparations for the next stage, which includes preparing, renovating and maintaining the units, in preparation for handing them over to the competent authorities in accordance with the decision issued.

In turn, Major General Abdul Hakim Al-Khaitouni confirmed the readiness of the Law Enforcement Department to implement all instructions and orders related to the decision, stressing the continuation of work to ensure the complete completion of the project.

For his part, Engineer Abdel Mawla Azuma confirmed the Ministry’s readiness to carry out the necessary preparation and maintenance work according to the time plan that will be prepared by the committee, to ensure efficient workflow and achieve the desired goals of the project.
