Thiruvannamalai: A police complaint has been filed against 96 people who defrauded the Prime Minister’s house building project of 24.98 lakh rupees in Peranamallur Union. Thiruvannamalai Collector Murugesh held an inspection meeting with the officials on the last 19th regarding the development works in Peranamallur Union. Then, from 2016 – 2017 and from 2019 – 2020, the prime minister ordered to find the beneficiaries who received the first installment of 26,000 rupees and did not build a house and report them to the police.
Accordingly, Peranamalluar PTO, Venkatesan’s investigation revealed that 96 beneficiaries in Peranamalluar union level received 24 lakh 98 thousand rupees but did not build houses. Desur police, 10; Chetupatta police, 20 people; Peranamallur police, 49; According to the complaint filed by the PTO, the police are investigating 17 people out of 96 people in Vada Olalompadi police.
