/ Media outlets reported on Thursday that Houthi elements warned Israeli, American and British ships against sailing in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea.

Reuters reported, citing data issued by an agency controlled by Yemen’s Houthi group, that ships wholly or partially owned by individuals or entities affiliated with Israel and ships flying its flag are prohibited from passing through the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea. The data, sent to shipping insurers by the Houthis’ Humanitarian Coordination Center, said that “vessels owned by American or British individuals or entities, or sailing under the flags of the United States or Britain, are also prohibited.”

The Houthi leader said in a speech on Thursday that “the attacks in the Red Sea are continuing and we are seeking to escalate them.”

“We have introduced submarines into our operations in the Red and Arabian Seas,” he added.

He pointed out that the Americans use the veto on any decision that serves the interests of the Palestinians and serves Israel. He explained that “the United States is a partner in Israel’s aggression against the Palestinians.”
