The Hoverair X1 Promax not only boasts double the internal storage (64 GB), but is also claimed by the manufacturer to be the world’s first mini-drone under 200 g equipped with an 8K camera. Despite its lightweight of 192.5 g and the same dimensions, it can capture footage using a 1/1.3 inch sensor and a 16 mm lens with up to 8K@30fps or 4@120fps in HDR with 10 Bit HLG.

Naturally, both foldable mini-drones, measuring just 105 x 149 x 34 mm, are easily portable and come with a host of features. These include over 10 intelligent flight modes for tracking moving objects and various aerial maneuvers. A few insights into the capabilities of the Hoverair X1 Promax are provided in the trailer below.

The two mini-drones are controlled with a one-hand or two-hand controller, with a smartphone serving as the display. The manufacturer also offers various accessories such as a beacon for the bicycle handlebar or a PowerCase for transport and recharging.
