There are reports that a new privacy feature is coming so that no one can tag you on Twitter.

An app developer named Jane Manjun Wang has been investigating Twitter’s privacy and security issues for the past few days as an experiment. Then he tested and published what it would be like if there was a feature on Twitter’s site that would not allow users to tag them.
Twitter’s official designer has confirmed that this feature is already being tested on Twitter. Thus, it is expected that Dont @ me, an anti-tagging feature, will be rolled out soon.

Earlier in a screenshot posted by app developer Wang, he clearly mentioned what the tag protection feature will look like. Accordingly, in the Mention section of Twitter there is an option called ‘Allow others to tag you’. Just tick it. No one can tag you on Twitter.

For now, it is said that the facility to disable Twitter followers and limit the number of followers will be brought. Details on when it will go live are expected to emerge soon.
