He Government of Mexico announced the operating rules of the Transportation Scholarship to University and university studentsin 2025.
The transportation scholarship is financial support that helps low-income students cover public transportation expenses, facilitating their mobility and access to educational opportunities; In addition, benefits are obtained such as:

According to the stipulated operating rules In the document, they point out that the Transportation Scholarship program in CDMX is aimed at students from public universities, whether take the school modality (in person) or mixedand live in “colonies, neighborhoods or towns with a medium, low or very low index of social development.”

Amount of Transportation Scholarship support?
The Transportation Scholarship in CDMX for 2025 will be $1,500 pesos bimonthlyin accordance with the stipulated operating rules newly issued.
The resources will be delivered directly, without intermediaries, through a electronic card or other suitable means of payment, with the aim of helping to cover the expenses of higher level students; in total they will receive $7,500 pesos.
Something to highlight is that the resource will be divided equally, that is, the 50 percent of the beneficiaries will be women and the remaining 50 percent will be menwho must study at a university located in the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico.
Transportation scholarship registration
The Social Program “Scholarship for University Students for Transportation and More, 2025”, is open to Higher Education students enrolled in Public Institutions in Mexico City or on a campus of a National University located in the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico (ZMVM) that meet the following requirements:
a) Be a resident of Mexico City; preferably from neighborhoods, neighborhoods and towns with medium, low or very low social development index (IDS).
b) Be a bachelor’s student in school or mixed modalities, offered by public institutions in Mexico City or a campus of a National University located in the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico.
c) Have a supporting document issued by the corresponding educational institution for students of a University located in the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico.
d) Have a valid official identification of the applicant with a photograph, issued by an official authority (voting card with photograph or passport).
e) In the case of minor participants, and if they are beneficiaries of the Program who are also minors, they must provide copies of the official identification of the mother, father or guardian respectively.
e) Have the Unique Population Registration Code (CURP).
f) Have a personal email account that is active and that you check frequently. This account will be the official means by which communications regarding the “Scholarship for University Women and Men for Transportation and More, 2025” will be sent.
g) Know what is stipulated in these Operating Rules and assume the commitments established for their compliance.
h) Fill out the registration form or platform for review and evaluation, which will be available on the website
i) Accept under oath of truth, that you are not a beneficiary of other financial support or Social Program of the same nature.
j) Refrain from providing false information or apocryphal documentation at any time during the development of this Social Program. 8.3 Access Procedures Once the Operating Rules of the Social Program “Scholarship for University Students for Transportation and More, 2025”, come into force, the SECTEI will issue a public call, which will be published in the Official Gazette of Mexico City and on its official website: The call will indicate the dates on which registration can be carried out.

Procedure for accessing the transportation scholarship
In order for applicants to be incorporated into the “Scholarship for University Women and Men for Transportation and More, 2025” Program, they must complete the following procedure:
- Obtain your CDMX Key account available at the following electronic link:
- Enter the registration form or platform available on the website and request all the required fields.
- Attach the documentation requested on both sides and separately. The documents must be completely legible and comply with the characteristics stipulated in the call. The lack of any document and/or those that have deletions, amendments or are not legible, will be grounds for rejection of the applicant for the Program.
- Once the registration is completed, a folio will be issued, which must be kept as evidence that the procedure was carried out. Additionally, registration will not determine whether or not the person will be accepted into the Program.
The status of beneficiary accepted in the Program will be issued by the designated Administrative Unit of the SECTEI, once the corresponding review and validation of the documentation provided has been carried out.
