What is carpal tunnel syndrome?
Sara Bistre Cohen, former president of the Mexican Association for the Study and Treatment of Pain (AMETD), indicated that CTS is a condition that can cause weakness and muscle atrophy in the hand.

Symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Sara Bistre Cohen, added that “the symptoms of this condition occur more frequently in the morning upon awakening or during the night,” but emphasized that a comprehensive and gradual treatment is important to prevent the pain from becoming chronic.
In addition, he recommended avoiding risk factors and rectifying the posture of the hands and wrists while carrying out daily activities.
Main carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms son:
-Sensation of tingling and numbness in the thumb and the next two or three fingers of one or both hands or in the palm of the hand.
-Pain in one or both wrists.
-Trouble making fine movements with the fingers.
-Weakness of one or both hands.
-Clumsiness to take objects.
-Pain that may extend to the elbow.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition that can be treated, mainly with surgery. For this reason, it is important to detect this condition before the damage progresses or becomes more severe.
