NARRATIVE – Many levers have been activated in recent weeks to continue to distribute fuel despite refineries and depots shut down.
On the front of the stage, refineries that no longer run and vehicles stopped because of fuel shortages. Behind the scenes, a whole world is teeming to continue to supply the country as best they can. At the direction of the oil companies, in the ministries and up to the Elysée, the commotion has been decreed. Thanks to this mobilization of the shade, the dry breakdown was avoided. Even at the height of the crisis, when six out of seven refineries were blocked and a number of large depots with them, one out of two service stations lacked any product nationwide, according to the Ministry of Ecological Transition, even if these figures are debatable.
