The 19th century gained attention as the return of Vinayan, who made films that surprised the Malayalees like Mihawaladweep. The responses are coming in such a way that we should acknowledge the courage shown by Vinayan to make such a film.

The Nineteenth Century under Vinayan’s direction was shocked with the best screen count for a Malayalam film in recent times. Released on Thiruvona Day, the film has more than 200 screens in Kerala alone. GCC has got the same number of screens.

The film has releasing centers in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, UP, Haryana, Gujarat, Mangalore, Manipal, Mysuru, Tirupur, Salem, Coimbatore and Chennai. Meanwhile, the overseas release of the film except GCC is on 9th. 19th Century is releasing with huge screen count in Europe and North America including UK.

The film has been released in more than 100 theaters in Europe alone. Meanwhile, only the Malayalam version will hit the theaters today. The Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada language versions were earlier scheduled to be released together, but they will not be released today as the censoring of the dubbing copies has not been completed. Vinayan informed that as soon as the censoring is completed, the other language versions will be brought to the theatres.

Produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Shree Gokulam Movies, the film is made on a huge budget. Siju Wilson is the hero in the film. Siju plays a historical man named Aratupuzha Velayudha Panicker. Written by the director himself, Nineteenth Century is co-produced by VC Praveen and Baiju Gopalan. Krishnamurthy is the executive producer. Kayadu Lohar is the heroine. Anoop Menon, Chemban Vinod, Sudev Nair, Gokulam Gopalan, Vishnu Vinayan, Tinitom, Indrans, Raghavan, Alencier, Mustafa, Jafar Idukki, Chalipala, Sharan, Dr. The film also stars Shinu, Vishnu Govind, Sftikam George, Sunil Sukada, Jayan Cherthala, Baiju Ezhupunna and Sundara Pandian.
