Which vaccines have already arrived and which vaccines will arrive

As is known, there are currently three vaccines available for the vaccination campaign: Pfizer (for now the company that has sent more doses to Italy), AstraZeneca (the company that should send more doses in the second quarter of 2021) and Moderna. The Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine has also been approved, but the first arrivals of this vaccine are expected in April.

In general, 10 million AstraZeneca doses are expected to arrive in Italy from April to June, almost 9 million Pfizer doses plus another 6.6 million additional doses and another 9 million doses foreseen by a second contract signed by the EU (more than 20 million Pfizer doses could arrive in total), 4.6 million doses of Moderna and 7 million Johnson & Johnson doses. There are also 7 million doses of the Curevac vaccine which is in phase 3 and may soon be approved by the EMA. In total, this is over 50 million doses in Italy in the second quarter of the year.
