According to the details, Justice Shakeel Ahmed Advocate of Lahore High Court heard the petition of citizen Muhammad Nadeem Sarwar, the court expressed dissatisfaction with the response of the Ministry of Law and directed to submit a detailed response. The lawyer PTA told the court that the internet facility was affected due to the fault in the submarine cable, the repair work of the cable is going on, it is hoped that the internet facility will be restored to a sufficient extent by August 28, the court heard the case. The hearing was adjourned till August 27.

It was said by the petitioner that due to unknown reasons the internet was shut down in Pakistan, IT related businesses are being badly affected due to the internet shutdown, the world is moving to the latest technology Pakistan’s IT The sector is being destroyed, Pakistani companies and youth are earning billions of rupees in foreign exchange from IT, the court should invalidate the shutdown of the internet, the court should oblige the government not to shut down the internet in the future, in the petition. The federal government, PTA and others have been made parties.
