BA.4, BA.5, Centaurus… the variants presented by COVID-19 number in the dozens and continue to increase. Every time a new strain of coronavirus occurs, the cumulative incidence in Spain spikes and health centers return to receive a high number of cases.
Now, the disease suffered by these patients has little to do with those seen in 2020. Not only because of the vaccination process, but because each of the new variants offers new symptoms or lightens others or endless probabilities. So what about the latest variants?
More variants, less time
According to the French Ministry of Public Health, all new variants swith much less durable than the previous ones.

If it is compared with the average time of the Delta variant in a person vaccinated with three doses, a big difference can be seen: in this case, 7.7 days on average.
