The 2024 budget law has reduced from 90 a 70 euro the amount of canon television subscription for private use, due for the current year. With resolution no. 1/E of today the Revenue Agency announces the amounts of the fee for the year 2024 for the various cases that may arise.
For citizens for whom the charge of Rai license fee occurs in the electricity bill or for pensioners who have alternatively chosen that payment deductions are made directly from the pension, it will be up to the electricity companies and social security bodies to charge the new reduced amounts and therefore those directly involved will not have to do anything.
Other taxpayers who already have a TV subscription for whom it was not possible to include it in the electricity supply invoice must pay the fee due for the entire year, equal to 70 euros, using the form by 31 January 2024. F24 (tax code TVRI).
Among these, for example, also families in which no member has an electricity supply contract on which it is possible to charge the TV license fee.
