(Owais Kayani) The federal cabinet has approved the Hajj policy 2025, the official Hajj package will be from 10 lakh 65 thousand to 75 thousand, while the compensation for those who died and injured during Hajj has been increased, the families of those who died will be compensated from 10 to 2 million rupees.
Rs 10 lakh compensation will be given to those injured during Hajj.
According to the details, the Federal Cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister in which the Haj Policy 2025 was approved. The official Haj package will be from 10 lakh 65 thousand to 75 thousand. This year, children below 12 years of age will not be allowed to travel, computerized balloting will be done regarding government quota, road to Makkah facility will be available at Islamabad and Karachi airports.
A briefing was given to the cabinet in which it was said that a new post of nazim has been appointed this time for the facilities, one nazim will be appointed for every 100 pilgrims, these nazims will be selected from the welfare staff, during Hajj death and injured. Compensation has been increased for those who died, 10 to 20 lakh rupees will be given to the families of those who died.
Those injured during Hajj will be given compensation of 10 lakh rupees, priority should be given to those who are performing Hajj for the first time.
