Gone are the days when we had to lug heavy water bottles to the office. Since the movement, the modern water dispenser has been in every coffee shop and provides the staff with either sparkling or cold water as well. The employer also donated beautiful, personalized carafes with the company logo for the workplace, which we now diligently refill every day and take with us to our desks.
As time went on, however, the joy gradually diminished, literally, because the taller the bottles, the more shapeless the measuring stick was. hard enough. And when the carafe was recently placed in the backlight, the streams may no longer be overlooked. How to get rid of this bad problem?
Various skills were considered. Washing machines run the risk of damaging the company’s printed logo. We find bottle brushes unhealthy and we don’t want to use chemical cleaning agents for environmental reasons. Some guides swear by cleaning tablets for teeth.
Direct instead of synthetic
But we prefer to follow the advice of a friend who trusts mechanical forces and get small stainless steel cleaning beads online for 10 euros. They are durable, rust proof and they are intended to act as washing brushes small without pulling the glass.
And here’s how it works: Put the silver beads in the carafe, add hot water and a stream of dishwashing liquid – that’s optional. Arm strength is now needed as the balls have to be made to dance using circular movements and vibration. Rhythmic music helps and, if you’re feeling carefree, a little dance activity.

Two minutes is enough, then rinse the water well so that the dancing balls do not disappear down the drain, and will not be seen again.
However, the toppings are guaranteed to be gone. The glass carafe shines again in its former glory. Vases, baby bottles and other glass containers with narrow openings can also be cleaned this way. Allow the beads to dry thoroughly and store them in the bag provided until next use.
Ours can now continue dancing in the tower, in the foggy carafes of our comrades. We are already looking forward to lively times in the coffee kitchen.
