The Federal Administration of Public Income (Afip) announced this Tuesday that the 15% refund limit for purchases with debit cards will be extended. Holders of retirement, pension and family allowances from the National Social Security Administration (Anses) will be able to access the benefit.
The measure was published in the Official Gazette and will be in force until December 31, 2023. The update of maximum repayment amounts for beneficiaries who purchase “movable goods in retail and/or wholesale businesses” and are registered in Afip.
The discount ceiling was raised to 4,056 pesos per month for each holder. In case of receiving two or more allowances, the reimbursement will be up to 8,114 pesos per month.
Afip: How to access the refund of 15% of purchases with debit card
The refund is automatically applied to the same bank account where the benefit is received. It will be credited within 24 and 48 hours of the purchase.
The businesses that are included in the program are: Hypermarkets, supermarkets, stores and pharmacies.
