What requirements must you meet?
First of all, this trick is only available for users who use WhatsApp on an Android phone. In case you have an iPhone or another Apple device, you won’t be able to do this. You will also need to download a third-party program called Nova Launcher which is located in Play Store, the application store that belongs to Google.
In addition to installing Nova Launcher, you’ll need to have an image of the WhatsApp icon with a pink or other pastel-colored ribbon. You can find it on Google, and if you can’t find one, you can edit it yourself. Using Photopea (a free version of Photoshop) or another photo editing program, you can add a pink bow to the app’s logo.
Before exporting the image, make sure it has no background (that it is transparent) and that it is in PNG format, because if you export it in another format (JPG, for example) the WhatsApp flirt icon will have a white background that will ruin the style. If you meet all these requirements, then you should follow the next steps.
How to enable WhatsApp flirt mode?
Go to Play Store and download Nova Launcher. You can find it here.
The app will ask you for some permissions. You must grant them for it to work properly.
After installing it, you will see that the interface of your Android phone changes.
For example, some icons will be out of order, so you’ll have to rearrange them manually.
Press and hold the WhatsApp icon.
Several options will appear. Choose ‘edit’ and then ‘image’.
Choose the image you previously edited.
That would be all. Save the changes and you will see how the classic whatsapp icon will be gone and in its place you will have a new icon with a pink bow or any other color you like. In case you want to go back to how it was before, you can go back to Play Store and uninstall Nova Launcher, after doing so, all the changes will disappear.
