How to block a person in contacts through Truecaller
In order to block a specific person who causes inconvenience or block him for any reason, the following steps are to be followed:
- First you have to open the Truecaller app and open the contacts.
- Scroll down to select the contact you want to block, then select the person.
- From viewing his profile, choose the word “Block” or “Block”.
- It will ask you if the contact is a personal or business account, and it will also ask for the reason for blocking which is optional and you don’t have to say why.
Thus, the blocking process will take place and the number will not be able to reach you again.
Block someone who is not in contacts
If you want to block a person who is not in your contacts, you must do the following:
- Log in to the Truecaller application and then enter the ban.
- Scroll down to the “Manually block someone” section.
- Fill in the required details, enter the phone number and the person’s name, and then click on the word ban.
- If you do not know the number you want to block, you can block by name to prevent the call from anyone who is calling and registered with this name.
How to unblock someone on Truecaller
- Open the Truecaller application and then click on the word “Blocking”.
- Search for someone’s block list manually, then enter it and choose Manage Block List.
- If you want to cancel, press the minus sign next to the contact.
- With this you are done unblocking and the person is available to contact.
