We all want everything to work all the time, but sometimes it may not, especially in technology applications, for example, your Windows application may slow down, or your program may become unresponsive, or your computer may crash and many Other reasons.
In such cases, the best option is often to force quit the unresponsive app.
This means that your computer will force the program to boot no matter what it does or tries to do.
There are several ways you can do this on a Windows PC, Theverege points out.
Press Alt + F4 (or Fn, depending on how the function bar is programmed). This will close all currently selected applications.
Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and select Task Manager or Ctrl + Shift + Esc to bring up the task manager directly. Select the application you are trying to close and click End task.
Press Windows + R to bring up the command prompt. Type cmd and press Enter. Type task list and press Enter. Enter taskkill /im program name exe /t /f
If none of this works, you may need to restart your computer.
