How to find the program of your candidates online?

by time news

Two months after the first round of the presidential election, voters are again called to the polls this Sunday, June 12 for the 2022 legislative elections. This time, they must therefore elect their deputies. More than 6,000 candidates are running this year in the 577 constituencies.

The French have received their programs by mail and can consult the notice boards of their commune. But, “to promote voter information”, the Ministry of the Interior also publishes all professions of faith online, on a dedicated website.

Programs in audio version and in “easy to read and understand French”

The Internet user simply has to choose his department then select his town or district to access the programmes. Some candidates have even provided a version in Falc (French that is easy to read and understand) and the site offers an audio version for the blind.

French people living abroad, who have already voted for the first round, can also consult the programs online. They must go to the France Diplomatie website and indicate the district in which they live. They can then download the PDFs of the professions of faith. “Some dematerialized circulars may not have been transmitted within the time limits. We are therefore unable to put these documents online,” warns the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. For these voters, online voting for the second round will be open from Friday June 10 to Wednesday June 15, 2022.
