Currently, connected individuals are subject to thousands of information during the day, which can compromise our memory to remember all of them. Therefore, applications such as WhatsApp make it possible to save messages, which should be useful for saving important information.
To mark these messages as ‘favorites’, just enter the chat where the important information appears, click and hold on a message and wait for the function bar to appear at the top of the screen. Then just click the star icon to save. The user can save information in texts and multimedia files (such as photos, videos, audios and stickers).
When you need to access the saved information, just go back to the home screen, click on the three ‘little dots’ on the top right and select the “Favorite Messages” option.
Why save messages on WhatsApp and how to ‘unfavorite’ them?
The feature can be useful for accessing important information more easily, such as work schedules, study schedules and any other media that needs your attention at any given time. In addition, the function is necessary to store the stickers in the application: when saving them, they automatically become available for use.
If you want to remove the marking from messages, just access the “Favorite Messages” tab. Click and hold on the media you want to remove, and select the star icon with a dash in the middle.
