Those who already have a social card and still meet the requirements will simply have to wait for the old one to be recharged. New beneficiaries, however, must go to the post office to collect the prepaid card, but only after receiving the notice from their municipality of residence. It is not necessary to fill out an online application.
The purchase of the above goods can only take place at the Authorized commercial establishments. And it is important to know that at least one payment will have to be made by December 16, 2024: otherwise the benefit will no longer be available.
As regards the expiry of the benefit, it is established that all the sums credited to the card must be entirely used. by February 28, 2025.
Where to spend the Dedicated to you card
Online purchases are not permitted: the Dedicated to you card must be spent directly in physical stores, exclusively at the commercial establishments that sell food products. No one is excluded, so it will not be possible for the merchant to refuse a payment made with the card.
We also recall that the Ministry of Agriculture has stipulated agreements with some businesses belonging to the Large-Scale Retail Trade (and not only), in order to contain prices and apply a further 15% discount in favor of those who own the card. Authorized stores will advertise the discount.
Obviously the social card can then be used at the fuel dispenserseven with self-service mode, as well as at the local public transport bodies for the subscription of a monthly or annual membership.
