How tourism is developing in Russia within the framework of the national project – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

My old friend, unexpectedly for me, changed his habit of rest. If earlier he went “to lie in a foreign land and see the world”, now he is addicted to travel around our villages and cities. “You have no idea how exciting it is, let alone cheaper, calmer and more useful,” says Alexey.

In his room, he changed the map of the world to a large map of Russia. It is studded with multi-colored flags. And most of all red. Alexey is going to go here.

Greens where he has already been. One of them pierced Nelmin-Nos in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. “A wonderful place!” Aleksey recalls. “You leave the plague at three o’clock in the morning, and the tundra shimmers to the horizon in the sun’s rays, like multi-colored diamonds. And swimming in the Pechora Bay! stories for the week “. Moreover, he did not visit all places in the district. There are seven specially protected natural areas of regional importance.

I am interested in the red flag east of Nelmina-Nos. This is the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. “It is in the plans. There are not only gas and oil, but also beautiful places. Do you know why? In the district, as I read, there are 24 specially protected natural areas: reserves, reserves, natural parks, natural monuments.”

Their total area is 2.5 million hectares! But this is not the limit. In Ugra, it is planned to create 14 more zones of regional significance. Already in 2022, the “Repolovsky cedar forest” will appear in the Surgut region, followed by Tundrinsky and Yagelny. All this is done, as in other regions, thanks to the federal project “Conservation of biological diversity and development of ecological tourism”. It has been working since 2019 as part of the Ecology national project.

In September, a change of ecological tourism was opened in Khamar-Daban for the improvement of the “Great Baikal Trail” in the Baikal Nature Reserve

– And Perm, as I understood from the red flag, is also in the plans?

– Exactly. I’ve been going there for a long time. This, it seems to me, is the edge of the old preserved Russia. Look, – he hands me the photographs, – Belogorsk Nicholas Monastery on White Mountain … An amazing temple. And the oldest cities are Cherdyn and Solikamsk. This is all a must see!

And here, too, many specially protected areas are being created. The valleys of the small rivers of Perm – Yegoshikha and Danilikha are being landscaped, the Yegoshikha cultural and memorial park is being renewed.

– Do you know, – continues Alexey, – more than 20 thousand rivers flow in the region. Recently I read: Governor of the Perm Territory Dmitry Makhonin instructed officials to analyze the work of organizations and companies located on the banks of small rivers. Are there those among them who pollute the channels with sewage? So that not only the banks are comfortable, comfortable and well-maintained, but also the river water is clean and safe.

And now my friend has gone into the wilds of Khamar-Daban. This is such a “mountainous country” on the territory of the Irkutsk region and Buryatia. Once Alexei went to the site of volunteer environmentalists “Do!”, And they were just recruiting the next shift. “I decided to try myself in the role of an ecological tourist. Help to equip the Great Baikal Trail in the Baikal Nature Reserve.”

At his offer to join him, I dismissed it: “Not until now!” But for some reason, since that day on the Internet, I increasingly find and read about unusual places in our country …
