by time news

The majority of the swearing in completed according to plan, now they must discuss the regulations.

This Thursday, April 13, was the date indicated for the National Primary Commission to make the oath of the regional boards.

The act was carried out virtually through the zoom platform so that the 24 regional meetings could be made official simultaneously.

Through a press release issued by the commission, it was learned that with “great enthusiasm, joy and commitment” they took on the challenge.

Although in other states the group met to receive the instructions, in the Falcón state the connection to the act was separate.

After overcoming some connectivity difficulties, already after 11 in the morning, the president of the commission, Jesús María Casal, the vice president María Carolina Uzcátegui and other members formalized the oath.

The main members in the region were present at the session, Wilme Pereira Arcaya, Egleé Chirino Chirino, Emeline Díaz Cumare, Graciela González Navarro and Eddy Timaure Jiménez.

About all the entities, it was possible to know that some selected ones could not connect in the act of swearing in.

The National Commission held this Friday, April 14, in a complementary virtual act to complete all members.

Steps to follow for installation

According to some members consulted, they are discussing a date to hold the first meeting.

In said space, all the members of the regional board, both principals and substitutes, will know the internal regulations.

The meeting will allow a brainstorming where concerns will be raised, suggestions and a president, vice president and secretary will be chosen.

National Commission for Primaries recalled the importance of the process

In the first instance, the commission stressed the five reasons why the Venezuelan people should participate in the primary process.

1.- Because it is an election aimed at civil society.

2.- Because the commission has ensured that it is a comprehensive process.

3.- Because there are clear rules for candidates. Society demands fair competition, without offense and with proposals.

4.- Because it guarantees the right to choose who will represent the opposition in the presidential elections.

5.- Because it will gather support around whoever is elected in a joint effort.
