How will the municipal services be on the holidays of June 19 and 20?

The Municipality of Corrientes informs about the provision of its different services, taking into account the national holidays of this Saturday, June 17, for the pass to immortality of General Martín Miguel de Güemes; Monday 19 (tourist bridge) and June 20 for the celebration of Flag Day.

The Secretary of Environment announced that the collection of waste will be carried out this Saturday as usual, only with daytime service; on Monday it will be fulfilled normally in both areas, and on Tuesday there will be no service in any sector of the city. The differentiated collection will not be provided on June 20 either.

The Green Points scattered in the different neighborhoods will function normally during all these days, while there will be guards in the areas of Sweeping, Environmental Comptroller, Environmental Quality and Public Spaces. On the other hand, there will be no attention in Sanitary Documentation nor in the Bromatological Control Center.

The Municipal Court of Misdemeanors will work on the weekend, Monday June 19 and Tuesday June 20 with a guard that will attend from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., only for urgent procedures related to common vehicle hijackings.

The General Directorate of Deaths will serve the public on weekends and holidays with a guard that will work, from 7 to 19 in the office located at 25 de Mayo 1132 (municipal building), where procedures related to burials, introduction of ashes and urgent transfers.

While the cemeteries, San Juan Bautista, located in the Virgen de los Dolores neighborhood, and San Isidro Labrador, in Laguna Brava, will open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for burials and visits.

To enter the municipal cemeteries on Saturday June 17 and Sunday June 18, it is recommended to request a turn to the page: https://sistemas.ciudaddecorrientes.gov.ar/turnos// for an organizational matter and because of one person per family group, as a result of the agglomeration that usually occurs on the eve of Father’s Day.

The tourist attention centers will work during the weekend and holidays with guards who will attend from 7 to 22 in Vera square, from 7 to 21 in Cabral square, and from 8 to 20 in the Bus Terminal.

The municipal Tourism undersecretariat recalled that the Punta Tacuara care center continues to be closed for works, and therefore the Eco Bicis service that usually operates there is suspended until further notice.

There will also be guards in the operational areas in Transit, Transport and Urban Police.

The Abasto market (El Piso) will open normally on Saturday, on Sunday the stallholders will attend only from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Normal service will resume on Monday, and on Tuesday it will remain closed.

While the Fresh Products market will attend half a day on Saturday 17; On Monday there will be normal activity in both shifts, and on the 20th it will open from 7 to 13:30.

For their part, the shopping malls of El Piso, Zona Norte (San Gerónimo), Ex Vía, Av. Pomar (in front of the Hypermarket) will work on weekends as on holidays at their usual hours, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The City Fairs will normally be presented this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Miter Park and from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Paseo Arazaty (Av. 3 de Abril and Costanera) where ornamental plants, handicrafts, handicrafts and gastronomic products will be sold; while on Sunday the 18th they will be in the same place, but running from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The fruit, vegetable, bakery, regional sweets and other stalls will be on Monday, June 19 in the Republic of Peru de las Mil Viviendas square and in the Los Inmigrantes square, located at the intersection of Sarmiento avenue and Teniente Correa Fernández. While on Tuesday the 20th they will be in Plaza Libertad and Los Amigos square, in all cases, from 8 to 12.

Without activity

For the weekend and national holidays there will be no activity in the Correntina Collection Agency (ACOR), the Municipal Loan Fund (CMP), the License Issuing Center (CEL), the Primary Health Care Rooms (SAPS ) and the other municipal administrative units, which will reopen their doors on Wednesday, June 21.

There will also be no charge for the metered parking service or service at the SUBE Points located in different sectors of the city.
