New rules for connecting construction projects to the water supply system in Azerbaijan will cause a revival in the real estate market as a whole.
As Day.Az reports, MP Vugar Bayramov told Trend about this.
The deputy noted that providing apartments, as well as non-residential properties with utilities, will increase the possibility of their sale.
“It is expected that more apartments will appear on the market and activity will increase. The specific impact on prices is not yet predicted. But overall, this will create a revival in the real estate market,” he said.
Let us note that the corresponding bill was adopted in the first reading at a meeting of the Milli Majlis on February 16. According to the project, connecting construction projects to the water supply system or replacing the connection point due to additional demand will be carried out on the basis of a connection agreement, and the customer will be issued a technical condition, which is an integral part of the connection agreement.
The customer will pay for the service to connect the facility to the water supply. After the customer has paid for the service of connecting household subscribers and existing or under construction facilities with the required daily output volume of up to 100 cubic meters (inclusive) to the water supply system, the preparation of technical specifications, design documentation and construction installation work will be carried out by water supply enterprises. To connect existing or under construction facilities with a required daily output volume of over 100 cubic meters to the water supply system, the customer will pay for connection services, and the development of a water supply system project and construction and installation work from construction sites to the point of connection to the water supply systems will be carried out by a contractor of the customer’s choice, or water supply enterprises at the expense of the customer.
