How will we celebrate March 11 in Vilnius?

The Day of the Restoration of Lithuanian Independence (March 11, 1990) is one of the main public holidays in Lithuania. Many events will take place in Vilnius, free tours in 7 languages ​​will return, processions with flags and concerts will take place, the most talented Vilnius schoolchildren will be awarded.

It should be noted that during the events there will be changes in the movement of public transport.

Like every year, on March 11, the municipality invites you to use free public transport. Buses and trolleybuses will run according to the usual Saturday schedule, but due to these events, there may be delays in public transport routes crossing Gediminas Avenue and T. Vrublevske and Šventarage streets. The changes will affect the departure times of bus routes 1G, 3G, 10, 11, 22, 33, 53, 73 and 88 and trolleybus routes 2, 3, 4, 6, 10, 12 and 17.
