HPE Advances Network Automation with Agentic AIOps adn AI-Powered Juniper Mist

HPE is considerably enhancing its HPE Juniper Networking portfolio with innovations designed to deliver agentic AIOps,moving towards more autonomous, smart, and proactive network operations. Teh advancements aim to address the growing complexity of modern, distributed networks and empower IT teams to improve resolution times, boost efficiency, and ensure optimal user experiences.

Virtually all companies recognize networks as essential to buisness success, but increasingly complex architectures demand new approaches to management. HPE is responding with a new wave of AI-driven capabilities for Juniper Mist, the AI engine powering Juniper Mist. These enhancements are focused on four key areas: enhanced conversational capabilities, expanded self-driving actions, a generalized large experience model (LEM), and AI-driven features for datacentres. The goal is to reduce IT complexity and deliver consistently “exceptional” user experiences across the entire network, from client devices to the cloud.

“Today’s networks must do more than connect – they must understand, adapt and act,” stated a senior HPE Networking official. “With these new digital experience twin and agentic AI capabilities in Juniper Mist, we continue to turn the network into a proactive partner for IT, capable of solving problems before they impact users. This is a major leap toward truly self-driving operations, helping our customers simplify complexity, reduce costs and deliver exceptional digital experiences at scale.”

Marvis AI: A Proactive Approach to Troubleshooting

Marvis AI analyzes network telemetry across wired, wireless,WAN,and datacentre environments, automating workflows to streamline operations and lower costs. The AI engine leverages trouble ticket data to continuously learn and improve its effectiveness, and integrates with external systems like Zoom, Teams, and ServiceNow via a fully request programming interface-driven model to quickly pinpoint and resolve root causes.

The latest iteration of Marvis introduces augmented conversational capabilities for real-time troubleshooting. Utilizing an agentic AI framework, the platform provides customized insights through self-driving agents that collaborate across all network domains. A new Marvis Actions dashboard will enable autonomous remediation of network issues, including misconfigured ports, capacity constraints, and non-compliant hardware, all while maintaining full IT oversight.

Predicting User Experience with the Large experience Model

A key differentiator for HPE Juniper Networking is the LEM, an AI model that analyzes billions of data points from applications like Zoom and Teams to troubleshoot performance issues and predict future problems. enhanced with Marvis Minis – digital twins that simulate user experiences – the LEM can now forecast application performance without requiring real-time data from the applications themselves. This predictive capability allows for proactive optimization before users are even affected.

Extending AI to the Datacentre

The advancements extend to datacentre operations with the Marvis AI Assistant for Data Centre, which integrates with Apstra’s contextual graph database to deliver intelligent insights and facilitate autonomous service provisioning. Marvis Minis also extends to the datacentre for continuous service validation and application assurance.

These capabilities are also designed to bolster GreenLake Intelligence, HPE’s approach to autonomous IT and agentic AIOps, deploying specialized AI agents across a multi-layered IT architecture. This is intended to enable real-time problem-solving, proactive optimization, and smarter decision-making across networking, storage, and compute.

one analyst noted that “For over a decade, HPE Juniper Networking solutions have pioneered the use of AI in network operations, accelerating the journey toward self-driving networks. With its latest advances in agentic AI and GenAI, powered by Marvis, HPE is delivering real autonomous capabilities that enable predictive intervention, letting ops resolve issues before users even notice.”

HPE believes these agentic AI capabilities represent a basic shift from reactive to proactive IT management, paving the way for significant gains in performance and efficiency.
