Hrithik didn’t insult Roshan, but it was wrong; Rajamouli’s controversial statement 15 years ago

Director SS Rajamouli’s words were controversial when he said that Hrithik Roshan was nothing in front of Prabhas. A video from years ago has resurfaced. The director has now given an explanation about that remark.

Rajamouli has now opened up that his intention was not to insult Hrithik Roshan. Rajamouli also clarified that the words he used were wrong. ANI has tweeted the video of Rajamouli’s reaction.

“It was many years ago. A must be at least 15-16 years old. But the words I used were wrong. It is openly accepted. It was not my intention to insult Hrithik Roshan. I respect him a lot,” says Rajamouli.

Even after years at the height of success, social media is praising Rajamouli for saying that what he did before was not right. Rajamouli spoke during the promotion event of the movie ‘Billa’ which was released in 2009.

“When Dhoom 2 came out two years ago, I wondered why only Bollywood was coming out with such great films. Are there no heroes like Hrithik Roshan in Telugu? That’s when I saw the songs and posters in Billa.”

“Hrithik Roshan is nothing in front of Prabhas. Rajamouli had previously said that he is thankful to director Meher Ramesh for bringing Telugu cinema to Hollywood level. This video was re-circulated on reddit.
