Huawei announced P60 Art with a special design

by time news

As part of the P60 series of phones announced by Huawei recently, the company added a third model which it calls P60 Art. This phone, which will be available in colors that the company calls sea blue and golden sand, brings an original and special back design inspired by nature – or more precisely, the beach.

The camera complex of this model is very different from that of its siblings and offers unconventional lines in a large, but very asymmetrical camera complex. It blends into the special texture of the back which, according to the company’s description, creates through the reflections of light the appearance of small waves that break on the beach and leave their mark in the sand.

The back of the device, as well as its front, is protected by a protective glass from the Kunlun company, and Huawei specifies extremely thin edges.

In terms of configuration, it is very reminiscent of the P60 Pro: a 6.67-inch LTPO OLED screen with a resolution of 1220×2700 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The processor is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with support for 4G only, and there is a storage memory of 512/1,024 gigabytes, twice that of the Pro.

The selfie camera is 13 megapixels as in the Pro, and the two main cameras on the back are also the same: both 48 megapixels, one with a laser sensor, PDAF support and optical image stabilization, and the other a telephoto camera with optical image stabilization, support in PDAF and 3.5x optical zoom. The wide-angle camera was however jumped from 13 to 48 megapixels.

Another change is the battery that offers the Art model a working volume of 5,100 mAh compared to 4,815 mAh in the Pro model. Charging is the same: 88 watts at most with wired charging, 50 watts at most with wireless charging.

Compared to the P60 and P60 Pro which should be launched this Friday, the P60 Art should be available for sale starting on April 8. Its price should be about 1,200 euros, compared to about 940 euros for the P60 Pro.
