Huawei has surprised a lot with its Mate 60 Pro because it is the first mobile from the company that includes a high-performance processor from its subsidiary HiSilicon since the US cut off access to advanced chip foundries such as those of TSMC or Samsung. That processor is the Kirin 9000S, which is not the most cutting-edge but is manufactured at 7 nm in China through SMIC. Now the mobile has an improved version, Mate 60 Pro+which includes some relevant changes.

It measures 163.65mm × 79mm × 8.1mm and weighs 225g. It has a waterproof and dustproof structure with an IP68 certificate. Maintains the Kirin 9000S, and has 16 GB of RAM and options of 512 GB and 1 TB of storage. The screen is 17.3 cm (6.82 in) OLED type with a resolution of 2720 × 1260 pixels, adaptive refresh rate up to 120 Hz, and reproduces HDR.

The battery is 5000 mAh with fast charge of 88 W and reverse of 20 W through its USB type C. Includes NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ax and Bluetooth 5.2. The main change in communications comes from satellite communication not only for messaging but also for calling. This type of satellite communication is done through 5G, but it is not mentioned in the product.

The rear camera system changes more. The main one remains at 48 Mpx and ƒ/3.0 with OIS. The secondary goes to a 48 Mpx and variable aperture ƒ/1.4-4.0, while the tertiary goes up to a 12 Mpx and ƒ/2.4 ultra-wide angle. The front is 13 Mpx and ƒ/2.4 with two depth (flight time).

Its price starts from 7000 yuan or about 889 euros to direct exchange without taxes.
