Huawei is bringing its folding cell phone Mate X6 to Germany

The folding smartphone Huawei Mate X6 is coming to Germany in January. Those who pre-order will receive a discount on their mobile phone.
The Chinese manufacturer Huawei is bringing its folding cell phone Mate X6, which was introduced last November, to Germany. The company has now announced this at an event in Dubai.
The manufacturer has already published an official page for the German launch. The company is offering a 200 euro discount on the device, which can be pre-ordered from January 17th.
It is not known when the cell phone will appear in this country. The company also does not mention a German sales price. According to initial media reports, the Mate X6 could be released in this country on February 26th at a price of 1,999 euros.
The Mate X6 is equipped with a foldable inner display that measures 7.93 inches. The outside display is 6.45 inches. Both screens display content with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Both screens use so-called LTPO-OLED technology, which promises a smooth display that is also energy-saving.
To protect the screens, Huawei uses second-generation “Kunlun” glass, which, according to the manufacturer, increases resistance to drops by 25 times compared to the previous version.
The phone has a 50 MP camera, a 40 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 48 MP telephoto macro camera. The selfie camera is 8 MP. The camera software offers typical functions such as night mode and AI-supported image optimization, which, according to Huawei, should be suitable for both professionals and amateur photographers.
According to reports, the Mate X6 is likely to be powered by Huawei’s Kirin 9020 processor, which comes with 5G support and AI capabilities. The company itself does not provide any information about this. The processor is supported by 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
The Huawei Mate X6 is equipped with a 5,060 mAh battery that can be charged using fast charging. The device will appear in red, black and gray. Buyers can choose between a glass, marble or vegan leather back.
