What does Huawei’s triple-screen phone offer and how much does it cost?
The new Huawei Mate XT features a 10.2-inch OLED display when fully unfolded, offering a resolution of 2,232 x 3,184 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:11. However, the device’s screen can be used in different modes: the single mode (folded phone), dual mode (when opened once), and triple mode (the device becomes a tablet).
In ‘single mode’, the user has a 6.4-inch screen that allows them to browse the internet, chat, and check emails just like with any other phone. In dual mode, the screen expands to 7.9 inches, which can be very helpful for those who work from their phone.
Finally, in triple mode, the screen expands to 10.2 inches, providing a “3K” resolution and turning the smartphone into an ideal device for consuming content, designing, or multitasking.
Additionally, the smartphone is equipped with a 5,600 mAh battery, a 66W fast charging system, and wireless charging. Thus, the device could provide several hours of use, despite having three screens.
Furthermore, the manufacturer highlighted that its new device is powered by the Kirin 9010 5G chip (present in the Pura 70) and 16 GB of RAM. Moreover, the device is available in different storage options, including versions with 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.

Although this is a considerably expensive model, given that its price exceeds 12 million pesos, the Mate XT has been a big sensation in China, leading to over 3.7 million purchase reservations.
It is important to reiterate that Huawei’s triple-screen phone is only available in the Chinese market, and the brand has yet to announce whether this device will be coming to Europe, the United States, or South America.
