In an interview with MAP on the occasion of Gitex Africa 2024, Mr. Chenxiaolei noted that the Chinese company “has accumulated more than 35 years of experience in the field of digitalization that it is ready to make available to Morocco.”
Mr. Chenxiaolei, in this regard, said that Huawei is already working with three operators as well as with several companies in Morocco, for the establishment of a quality network and digital infrastructure “to enable them to properly execute their applications”.
Present in Morocco for 22 years, Huawei has “succeeded in identifying the challenges that Morocco faces in the field of digitalization,” he said, adding that these challenges are “fairly classic” and that “Morocco has an adequate model to implement all the infrastructures.”
For Mr. Chenxiaolei, Morocco is “a leader in Africa and one of the best countries to invest in infrastructure and digitalization.”
“This is why, within the framework of Gitex Africa, we are organizing a summit for all our clients to help Morocco adopt the right vision and the right approach to digitalization,” he added.
The head of the Chinese company did not fail to welcome the support provided by the government to digitalization initiatives, stressing that Huawei, considering that it is “major support for the new generation in Morocco.”
